In the 19th century, it was the most popular sporting event and game of the Ottoman Empire and palaces. Mahmut II outlawed jereed in 1826 because it was considered a harmful sport. Nevertheless, the game continued to expand throughout the empire as a significant Ottoman military game.

Jet Ski Racing

Jianzi is a traditional Chinese national sport in which participants use their bodies rather than their hands to maintain a massively weighted shuttlecock in the air, as opposed to related games Peteca and Indiaca. The basic source of jianzi is a 2,000-year-old Chinese ancient game called Cuju from the Han era. Jianzi’s competitive sport kinds are played on a badminton court, with different forms of jianzi’s competitive sports employing inner or outside lines, accordingly. It may also be played artistically in a circle of participants on a street or park, with the goal of keeping the shuttle ‘up’ and demonstrating talents.
